Vanadium Dioxide

Vanadium dioxide is an iron oxide with phase change nature and its phase transition temperature is 68 ℃. Vanadium(V) oxide and vanadium(III) oxide are essential raw material. Vanadium(IV) oxide is insoluble in water, however soluble in acid and alkali. It is stable at room temperature. It is with crystal form of  rutile.

Applications

Vanadium(IV) oxide act as a kind of colorant for glass and ceramics. It is also used for production of  thin film when add other raw materials as water, solvent, dispersion liquid, resin. VO2 glass or films transmit infrared ray when low temperature more tranismit, high temperature lower transmit. It decide application of smart glass to balance room temperature.
